Gardai have requested back up from the defence forces as a suspicious package was discovered.
The discovery was made by a member of staff just after 6am this morning on the Dock Road in Limerick.
The Gardai have said the the situation is 'developing' and that the Explosives Ordinance Disposal team is expected to arrive later today.
The building has been evacuated and the area has been cleared.
There is no further information on the situation at this time.
