BREAKING: More Holiday Chaos As Ryanair Cancel More Flights Due To Strike Action

Hopefully, this will be the last of the cancellations.

Ryanair has cancelled 300 flights that were scheduled to fly on Wednesday and Thursday of next week.

The company says it's hoped it will reduce "unnecessary disruption caused by strike action in Belgium, Portugal and Spain." (Spot the subtle dig, "unnecessary").

In a statement released on Twitter, the airline said all passengers had been notified by email or SMS.

However, they also advised people who are travelling to Spain, Portugal and Belgium on the 24th and 25th of July and have not been contacted to "expect their flight to operate as scheduled."

They also included a list of all the benefits Ryanair cabin crew receive alongside the statement entitled, "Briefing Note - Ryanair Cabin Crew - The Facts."

This is the latest in a series of strikes by Ryanair staff in the last year.

Ryanair pilots are due to strike on Friday over a dispute about seniority preferences. The pilots want a seniority system in place where those with the longest service will get first choice when promotions, base transfers and holidays are allocated.
