BREAKING: Dublin Based Ryanair Pilots Are Going On Strike AGAIN Next Week

We'll just forget about going on holidays, shall we?

Ryanair's Dublin-based pilots have made the decision to go on strike again next week.

The staff will down tools at 1 am on Friday the 10th of August for 24 hours.

Ryanair pilots in Sweden and Belgium have already said they would also be striking on that day too.

Earlier today, Ryanair said it hoped new talks on Tuesday would end the on-going row but it is unclear if it will go ahead.

Pilots in Dublin will also strike on Friday, 3 August while Ryanair cabin crew and pilots in other European cities are also taking action.

British-based pilots have started to indicate that they may be headed towards strike action as well.

In a statement, the airline said:

"Ryanair today deeply regrets FORSA’s unexplained notice of a 5^th strike on Friday 10^th August next, as FORSA again rejected Ryanair’s repeated offers to meet to resolve this dispute on Tues 7 Aug next. Ryanair has already published details of FORSA’s 11 requirements, 9 of which have been agreed.

Last Monday (30 July) Ryanair invited FORSA and its Pilot Committee to meet on Sat 4^th Aug (or early next week) to discuss FORSA’s 11 requirements as a way to resolve this dispute without further customer disruption. Ryanair renewed this invitation on Wed 1 Aug and offered to meet FORSA at Dublin Airport at 11am on Tues 7^th Aug. Rather than accept these invitations to meet (which FORSA have repeatedly called for), FORSA have now called a 5^th strike for Fri 10^th Aug, which will needlessly disrupt another 3,500 Irish customers.

Hopefully, Ryanair pulls the finger out and gets this sorted soon!
