Anyone who was planning to head to the US this year on the one-year graduate visa will most likely have been biting their nails in anticipation as they waited to find out whether or not the programme would go ahead in 2018.
Last year, USIT travel company announced that the 2018 graduate visa programme was put under review, according to the Irish Independent.
Programme coordinator Melanie Young had previously said that "all bets are off" regarding the 2018 programme going ahead.
However, after months of confusion, anyone wishing to head to the States on the working visa can rest assured that they still have a chance to do so.
Applications for the 2018 programme, which allows recent graduates to live and work in the United States for a full year, are officially now open.
