BREAKING: A Man Has Been Found Dead In Dublin Airport

An elderly man has been found dead in Dublin Airport this morning. 

According to the Irish Independent, the man's body was discovered in a bathroom in Terminal 1 shortly after 11am.

The man is believed to be in his 70s. His death is not being treated as suspicious.

Siobhan O'Donnell from the DAA spoke to Lovin Dublin:

''[I] can confirm that a gentleman passed away in Arrivals Hall, T1. Gardai in attendance who confirmed death not suspicious. Happened around 11.15 this morning.''

Another spokesperson for the DAA has come forward and said: 

“It’s sad, We’ve saved 26 lives thanks to our defibrillator programme in the past number of years so it’s really sad to hear this because he was on his own."
