Ireland only has one new Michelin Star this year and in a serious turn up for the books it belongs to the first ever Irish Pub to be listed.
Wild Honey in Lisdoonvarna' in County Clare has just been announced as the only new venue with a star this year.

Its such good news that Irish cooking is now being recognised beyond the super formal French style dining rooms where Michelin have spent most of their time in the past.
