Ryanair sales and Aer Lingus sales are gifts from the flying gods but it has always seemed like "never the two shall meet."
Until now.
Both airlines have started extremely low sales to help you beat the holiday blues and with both of them happening right now, they've gone head to head for the first time in a long while.
"Our big September sale is here," say Aer Lingus before adding "get amazing value fares to the UK and Europe or plan an adventure to North America. Book now and look forward to a happy winter break."
Ryanairon the other hand are asking you to swap your winter woolies for suncream.
"Winter doesn't have to mean freezing temperatures and woolly hats. There are plenty of destinations to fly to if you want to escape the cold and fancy some winter sun instead."
Aer Lingus' trips start from just €22 while Ryanair are giving away flights for less than a bloody tennor.
Ryanair's cheaper but Aer Lingus reliability and lack of previous delays and strikes this year balances that out.
Regardless of who you go for, you better start booking now before it all ends and you miss your chance.
