A Private Island Off The Coast Of Cork Is Selling For The Price Of An Apartment

Yep, that's right. You can actually buy your very own island off the coast of the Emerald Isle.

Mannion Island is a four acre private island for sale on Vladi Private Islands.

The "picturesque" island, which hasn't yet been built on, can be accessed from a new pier, just five minutes away from Durrus village in Cork. 

The Irish Mirror reported that a spokesperson for Vladi Private Islands said: "The island is home to a natural spring, and fertile land (covering approximately 60% of the island’s surface area)."

"Towards the east of the island, Mannion furthermore boasts a sheltered cove allowing for all-year-access."

The spokesperson added: "The island is being sold 'as is' and does not feature a house, building, structure, or ruins. Electricity could be provided via solar panels or a wind-turbine."
