A Jane Austen Ball Is Happening In Cork Next Month And We Need To Go

Pride and Prejudice, both the movie and the book, has a special place in many of our heart's.

Mainly for Colin Firth's portrayal as Mr. Darcy, but also among other reasons (we swear).

Jane Austen is a literary classic, and for good reason.

This year would be her 200th birthday - hb hun - and the Kinsale Literary Festival will be paying homage to the author by hosting a Jane Austen Ball.

There will be costumes, drinks, dancing, dinner and live performances of passages from her books.

Did I mention the prize for best dressed? Or the Baroque dance lessons?

Or the fact that you could meet your very own Mr. Darcy <3

The ball is happening September 1st, as part of the launch of Words by Walter.
