Mr Price are selling antigen tests for €1.99

The retailer claims to be selling the "cheapest antigen tests in Ireland".

With many of us looking to take extra precautions ahead of functions and get-togethers and the confirmation this morning that a testing regime will be implemented in schools from Monday, the demand for antigen tests in Ireland is higher than ever. If you're looking to pick up a few tests to have to hand, discount retailer Mr. Price are now selling them for €1.99 in selected stores across the country. They retailer has said they're "not waiting for any subsidy from the government”, and that they want to make antigen tests more affordable for their customers by being the cheapest in Ireland.
