Lonely Planet has compiled a list of Ireland's best beaches and it can potentially serve as a nice little bucket list to tick off once domestic travel opens back up.
Written by Fionn Davenport, the piece was published on Monday and includes beaches in all corners of our little island. Describing Ireland as a 'beachgoer’s paradise,' Fionn writes that 'Ireland’s coastline is a rich, 6200km-long necklace of glorious spots where the land meets the sea.'
Unsurprisingly, the west of Ireland is well represented with beaches such as Keem Bay in Mayo, Dog's Bay in Galway and Trá Mór in Donegal on the list. Further south, there's also Inch Strand and Banna Strand in Kerry while Killiney Beach over on the east coast represents the capital.
