So you've chosen the rings, said yes to the dress and fiiiiinally have pretty much everything about the big day planned. Fair play to ya.

Whether you want to make sure your wedding is like no other you'll see in Ireland this year or you want to know all the insider tips of what's hot for weddings in 2018 then read on, dear bride/groom/person who's single and obsessed with weddings.
Look, some of them are a bit "florals in spring? Groundbreaking" type faff but still. These things spread like wildfire (we're looking at you, boho barnyard wedding.)
Apparently groomsmen are opting for navy suits over black or those blue ones that were everywhere in 2017. Midnight blue bridesmaid dresses are also popular.
Say goodbye to rose gold! Silver is the fave metallic. “Now that we’re seeing so much of the 1970’s influencing home décor lately, silver and chrome are making a comeback,” shared Melissa McNeely of Events by Melissa McNeely in New York City.
Those boho chic weddings are no longer in, with more formal evening affairs the trend now. “We are anticipating a stronger presence of uber-elegant weddings in 2018,” says Nora Sheils of Bridal Bliss Event Planning in the Pacific Northwest. “We are seeing cleaner florals, classic tuxedos, and a hint of sparkle.”
Couples are looking more at ceiling flowers rather than tables.Chezelle Rodriguez of CD Weddings in Puerto Rico explains that suspended arrangements are in for 2018. “Couples are keeping their guest tables simple and focusing more on ceiling treatments.”
“For 2018 wedding trends, it's very much about creating an incredible experience for guests,” says Emily Sullivan of Emily Sullivan Events in New Orleans. The photo booth concept isn't going away but it's now more of an open photo backdrop, and couples are going all out with music.
“Different textures and something different on various elements, such as wax seals on menus, assorted linens on each table, and even three different tabletops for the reception tables are some of the new ideas that guests will notice.”

On the wedding menu for 2018 will be unique dining options, such as a self-serve a raw bar or roll your own sushi, farm-to-table dinners, and creative desserts.
“Creative desserts,” Nora says, “such as popsicles, custards and ice cream sandwiches” are what couples are serving at the end of the night."
Brides who want a rustic look and feel will start steering away from the barn look to a more “woodsy” look according to Taylor Green of Taylor Elise Events in St. Louis, Missouri. "We’ll also move away from burlap and see more wooden details,” she says.
Basically, everything is wood and there's a lot of greenery.
