Drinking before noon is an alien pursuit to most people but when it comes to the Rugby World Cup, there are bound to be a few exceptions made.
With the tournament taking place over in Japan, all four of Ireland's group games take place before the clock strikes 12pm but if you paid attention to this
article you'd know that already.
If you missed it though, the schedule for Joe Schmidt's men reads as follows:
Ireland v Scotland - Sunday September 22 8.45am
Japan v Ireland - Saturday September 28, 8.15am
Ireland v Russia - Thursday October 3 11.15am
Ireland v Samoa - Saturday October 12 11.45am
According to current Irish laws, pubs are allowed to serve alcohol from 10.30am from Monday to Saturday and 12.30pm on Sundays. This means that you'll have to pretty much remain sober during Ireland's first two games unless, of course, you feel like hosting an early morning shindig in your gaff.
For the second two games, you'll be able to cheer on the lads with a frosty pint or glass of wine in tow. Having said all this, a lot of places are sure to open without serving alcohol so if you feel like heading out for the atmosphere you can do that too. At least you'll have a seat for when they start pouring, says you.
Regardless, let's hope we're partying long into the night on November 2 when the final takes place.
