In recent years, we've seen a spike in fuzzy upper lips as soon as November rolls around. Of course, this is all due to the advent of Movember, a worthy international cause which sees men adopt a little bit of facial hair under their nose to raise money for charity.
2018 though is set to welcome the moustache with open arms for the whole year if GQ is to be believed.
In an article focusing on grooming trends for the year ahead, the men's magazine states that while the beard is officially dead, the good news for facial hair fans is that 'moustaches are (finally) a thing. Less Seventies porn star, more Magnum PI-era Tom Selleck.'
The publication goes on to list the benefits of a furry lip, saying that 'on the right face a moustache can add balance and create a pleasing aesthetic counterpoint to the eyebrows. What’s more, a moustache can work wonders at softening more dominant jawlines.'
So, there you have it lads. If you want to be the talk of town or attract a significant other in 2018 then you better get cultivating.
