I love scouring the web to find unique, cool and trendy pieces that are made by Irish designers. There's just something so special about buying local. I find myself checking labels in the supermarket to see where the food I'm buying is coming from and I adore going into Irish design shops.
I'm super proud to be Irish and I love supporting Irish brands or creatives.
So, I thought it's time for a new weekly series - Irish Made.
Each week I'm going to showcase an Irish brand or product that I'm really loving because these kind of things should be recognised and celebrated.
The pieces are super trendy but still timeless - simple but unique.
The modern pieces come in sterling silvers and 18kt gold plated sterling silver.
The company was launched in 2015 by Irish jeweller Gemma O Leary. She hoped that Inner Island would showcase design integrity and quality. All pieces are made in rural County Wexford.
The brand brings a refined, subtle approach to design. It's all about simple shapes with unexpected details, pieces that stand out from the crowd with a modern contemporary aesthetic.
I recently got my hands on the Ammil earrings and I adore them. They're now my go-to everyday earrings.
