Hairbands have come back in a big way but it seems we're all wearing the exact same ones from Penneys.
I hate having the same thing as every second person so I'm always on the hunt for special pieces, especially ones that are Irish made.
I saw these ones a few months back and fell in love with their design. I actually had no idea up until today that the company is Irish owned.

Alice & Blair was founded by Dublin-born Deirdre O'Flynn in January.
Whilst binge watching gossip girl with her sister, she fell in love with Blair Waldorf's hair accessories. This fuelled her desire to create unique, luxury and memorable pieces with the highest quality materials at a reasonable price point.
Starting out with a modest amount of money, stolen from her wedding fund, she started out importing and reselling hair accessories. Once the brand began to gather attention and a large following online, Deirdre and team began investing in their very own bespoke collection, Design by Alice & Blair.
Each piece is ethically handmade using premium velvet, silk, gold plated sterling silver and semi-precious gemstones including Swarovski crystals and pearls.
I am utterly obsessed!
The hairbands are such a nice touch to add to an everyday outfit as well as special occasions like weddings, races and parties.
The pieces come in a wide range of colours and designs so there's a little something for every kind of taste. Prices range from €35 - €75.
