The weekend is the President's birthday so you can expect to see plenty of photos being shared on his official social media accounts.
One such snap has been shared this afternoon and it shows Michael D catching up on some paperwork in his Áras an Uachtaráin office. If the picture teaches us anything it's that the President is more relatable than we thought, with many observing that his desk reminds themselves of their own in how it looks a little bit on the cluttered side.

One Twitter user wrote 'it’s quite reassuring that Miggeldy’s desk is a mess too' while another added 'thank feck that someone has a desk almost as untidy as mine.' Others clearly had the opposite reaction, with one saying 'I adore Miggeldy with all my heart but this desk is giving me heart palpitations'
While the busy-looking desk is clearly quite common, what is strange is that Higgins is working on the weekend of his 80th birthday. No annual leave in the Áras?
He will be enjoying some downtime when the big day arrives on Sunday though, as explained in
