No sign of their famous trad sessions to return just yet but here's hoping they'll be back very, very soon.
Pizza Napoli and Tig Choili - two Galway greats, and two that you can now enjoy at the same time. Yes, Tig Choili has teamed up with the guys at Pizza Napoli to allow them to reopen and it's some of the best news we've heard in quite some time.
Back open as of yesterday, Will and Kate's favourite Galway pub is now serving up "proper Italian Schtuff" as well. Filling the public in on their reopening, the team also gave an update on when their famous trad sessions may return.
"Folks..... it is with great pleasure and excitement that we inform you, that after over 4 months closed, we will be opening our doors again on Tues Aug 4th!!
In line with current government guidelines and in conjunction with our friends in Pizza Napoli ( proper Italian Schtuff!) We will be serving pizza and lovely, lovely pints from 12pm to 10pm!
In regards to live Traditional Music.....this is our No.1 priority to return all the sessions as soon as we get the green light to do so!!......having Tig Choili without music is like having pineapple on a pizza..... just not quite right!!"

Pineapple on pizza? A great analogy there. Advising customers to pre-book their visit (they're only a little pubín after all), you can do so through the pub Facebook page or website.
