Galway's seaside village, Salthill, only gets better with every new addition.
And the latest has us quite excited.
Located at 163 Upper Salthill, SALT Restaurant and Bar is stylish and bohemian yet warm and inviting with all the excellent drink and food to boot.
It is a celebration of art, food and music - all in one venue.
From the outset, we were obsessed.
I mean how couldn't we be with their kitschy and cool, vibrant and colourful branding?
But it's the food that really shines here - think fresh seafood served thoughtfully and sophisticatedly and local meat and veg cooked to perfection.
Carpaccio of tuna with caviar, Galway style bouillabaisse, scallops with black pudding and an Inisbofin seafood platter with lobster, native oysters, king prawns, mackerel, mussels, smoked salmon, brown bread, dips and thyme potatoes grace SALT's menu.
Yep - true heaven.
Starters like chicken and shiitake terrine and heritage tomato salad with beets and goat cheese complete a well-rounded, something-for-everyone kinda menu.
Not to mention their glorious veggie main option of sweet potato, cauliflower and aubergine korma with cardamom basmati rice, coriander yoghurt, pickles and pitta bread.
Yum.
Generally, we'd never judge a book by its cover.
But seeing as SALT makes such a great first impression, exterior-wise, you can go right ahead and expect it to be a sublime experience.
Oh, and the vibes are just right - complete with sultry jazz, staff who really know their shit, an inviting ambience and a seriously cool interior design job.
Fresh, funky, fun, original, creative and great craic.
SALT is everything Salthill is - in restaurant form.
