Limerick’s Most Romantic Wine Bar Now Has A Rooftop Terrace And We NEED To Go

We're starting to plan our sneaky summer weekend getaways and top on our list now is another little trip to Limerick.

Why Limerick, you ask? Oh, apart from the fact that it's actually a buzzy town with great food markets and nice things to eat, it's also home to one of our all time favourite wine bars.

We've written about our love for The Copper Room before, an underground, red brick and candlelit haven of all things excellent in grape.

There's exposed beams, chandeliers, a massive fireplace and the whole spot just oozes a cosy, hidden gem atmosphere...

And now they've a brand new rooftop space (considering the bar is underground, yep this counts as a rooftop)...

There's a live DJ on weekends (arrive early if you want a seat 'cos this place gets absolutely packed) and they also do a selection of cheeses, patés and meats.

The Copper Room is open from 5pm till late Monday through Thursday, 5pm till 1.30am on Friday and Saturday and from 5pm till late on Sunday.
