Here’s How To Make The PERFECT Mulled Wine

Mulled wine is probably the ultimate festive drink, but it's so often a disappointment.

We've been served everything from lukewarm to (*gasp*) non-alcoholic tipples over the years - so we compared mulled wine recipes from across the internet and chose our favourite.

GBBO presenter Mary Berry seems like a pretty trustworthy source, so we recommend checking out her instructions on BBC Food here.

You'll need two bottles of red wine, oranges, lemons, clementines and cinnamon sticks to make it - plus brandy and caster sugar if you fancy.

This recipe takes about an hour and a half and serves 12 - the perfect excuse to have all your friends round to the gaff!
