Sunshine might make you think of prosecco cocktails and a sparkling G&T on the beach but we've got news for you: this weekend the only spot to be in the sun is sippin' a whiskey down in Bray.
Why? Oh, purely because Wicklow's cutest (and dog friendly!) seaside bar is hosting its own whiskey festival, which starts today and runs until Sunday.
Cocktail specials start from just €6.50 and include a Lambay whiskey with cloudy apple juice, tonic water and lime or a classic Dead Rabbit whiskey cocktail.
In the house over the weekend they’ll have some of Ireland’s top distillers, handing out samples, shakin’ cocktails, playing games and giving away some prizes!

They'll also have a series of talks happening on Saturday and Sunday which are FREE and open to all.
Another noteworthy talk will be present by Teelings called ‘Whiskey & Woman’. This talk is aimed "towards the many ladies out there who are a bit shy when it comes to whiskey."
