Walking out of work in the evening to bright skies is honestly the best feeling.

I've been waiting quite some time to cover this wonderful brand and I'm so excited that the divine moment has arrived. I thought this week would be fitting as Dingle Gin took home the prize for World's Best Gin at the World Gin Awards in London last week.
Dingle Gin is a London dry gin with a unique character and flavour from the choice of botanicals delivering a fabulously fresh, floral character that perfectly balances the traditional juniper.
It's distilled in pot stills with a range of local Co. Kerry botanicals including Rowan Berry, Fuschia and Bog Myrtle.

Dingle Gin is the product of strategic technical and historical research and experimentation.
The Dingle Whiskey Distillery was created by Oliver Hughes, Liam LaHart and Peter Mosley, the same people behind Porterhouse Brewing Company.
The gin is distilled in a London Dry style with a combination of unique botanicals. This combination of flavour elements are macerated in spirit for 24 hours. It then passes through a flavour basket in the neck of the still. The spirit is collected at 70% abv and then cut to 42.5% abv using the purest of water which is drawn from their own well 240 feet below the distillery.
The botanicals were carefully chosen to ignite senses of the Kerry landscape.

On the nose:
On the nose you'll get a sharp piney smell with subtle floral undertones.
It has that classic aroma with a clean and contemporary tang.
Straight:
You'll get the unique flavours of the Irish botanicals almost instantly, followed by the distinctive bitter taste of juniper.
With Tonic:
With tonic, the sweet floral flavours of the gin really come out.
It's got a stunningly summer flavour, juicy berry notes with fresh notes of the Kerry countryside.
