Costa Coffee have announced their Christmas hot drinks range

Try to remain calm, but there is a new hot drink involving the Quality Street Purple One.

While most of us are still working our way through our PSLs and the other Halloween-tinged goodies, it is never too early to start celebrating Christmas with some well-timed hot drinks. Well, no, that isn't true, it is possible to be too early, which is why the folks at Costa smartly waited for Halloween to be over before officially launching their new Christmassy hot drinks in their stores. Costa have already been doing wonders with Xmas hot drinks, with the likes of the Black Forest Hot Chocolate, the Gingerbread & Cream Latte, the Irish Velvet, the Spiced Cappuccino and the Spiced Apple all launching in previous Christmas seasons, and they'll still be available this year, too. But joining this seasonal menu will be three new hot drinks, all flavoured around some of our favourite chocolates which we all associate with Christmas already. So you'll soon be able to head into your local Costa and order an After Eight Hot Chocolate, or a Terry’s Chocolate Orange Hot Chocolate, or a The Purple One Latte, named after the Hazelnut and Caramel Quality Street favourite.
