This new food craze is my new Roman Empire.
If there's one thing that TikTok is class for (and let's be honest, there's more than just one) it's discovering new food trends and obsessions. It's where we all first learned of the Gigi Hadid vodka penne (not exactly something she made up, but we appreciate it coming back into our collective consciousness alla the model), the Jennifer Aniston salad, where we drooled over people plating up their Chinese takeaway orders, or marvelled over the Emily Mariko salmon bowl.
The latest food trend to grace my FYP is pretty random but also looks like everything I have ever dreamed of in a dish. What is it, you ask? None other than the chicken and stuffing roll, accompanied by a side of roast potatoes, with a ramekin of gravy for dipping purposes. Talk about elevating your annual Christmas sambo.

Countless TikTok users have been posting their own iterations of the craze, including
Marisa Rourke in the above video, and it makes not craving this baguette-potato-gravy combo borderline impossible.
It's like a Christmas dinner and a chicken fillet roll all mixed up into one elite meal, and I for one have not stopped thinking about it since it first popped up on my TikTok feed.
Let's normalise having gravy as an every day condiment.
