The Best Photos Of Last Night’s Lunar Eclipse From Around Ireland

A partial lunar eclipse was visible over Ireland last night and it was a seriously stunning sight.

It also just so happened to be the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 launch that saw astronaut Neil Armstrong take man’s first steps on the moon. The partial lunar eclipse, where two-thirds of the moon is hidden by the Earth’s shadow, was visible on Tuesday night between 10pm and midnight. You’re not alone if you didn’t get to see it, though – some parts of the country were covered with cloud which majorly affected visibility.
