There are some definite highlights anyone visiting the city should check out - starting with Hiltl on Sihlstrasse. Hiltl is the oldest veggie restaurant in the world, offering over 100 delicious dishes. Diners can order from the buffet, a la carte, or take-away - and the place even turns into a club at night.

And while you're treating yourself, you should take a short trip up the hills of Zurich to the Dolder Grand. Over the years, the five-star hotel has hosted the likes of The Rolling Stones and Elizabeth Taylor - and boasts two incredible eateries. The Restaurant has not one but TWO Michelin stars, 16 GaultMilau points and a lengthy waiting list. Now that's swanky.
If you'd like more of an overview of the food scene you can also get a special tour of the trendy Zurich West quarter every Friday. Check out some of the area's most popular restaurants, including Les Halles - a renovated warehouse famous for its quirky decor and moules frites.
