Oh, Copenhagen is a wonderful city and I recently got to spend 24 hours there.
I was luckily brought over to try out the new Carlsberg 0.0, which to be fair is pretty delicious for a non-alcoholic beer.
We flew out on a Thursday morning and back Friday afternoon which pretty much left us with exactly 24 hours and we packed a lot in.

First up, Hygge.
Have you ever heard of this Danish phrase?
It's a word that basically describes what it's like to be cozy.
And it's something you can create by making an area cozy with soft lighting, pillows, candles, etc.
Well, we went to the Institute of Happiness Research to dive into why the Danes are so happy and how it's down to things like Hygge.
We also figured out why some countries are getting less happy and then certain days that were the saddest of the year and why.
The guys at the institute are really cool and I would recommend you check out their book, The Little Book Of Hygge.
We then popped out for dinner in a place called Mother Restaurant - delightful - before heading to the most wonderful place on the planet - Tivoli.

Tivoli Gardens is the second-oldest operating amusement park in the world after opening its doors in 1843.
At this time of year, it is decked out with Christmas lights, fire pits, and a Christmas market where you can grab a tasty mulled wine.
After this, you can jump on some of the rides they have. It is honestly such a magical place and all I can recommend is that you give yourself as much time as possible here.
Perfect hotel location.
The hotel we stayed in was called SP34 and it had a lovely restaurant, Cocks & Cows, where we ate before we departed the following day.
It was really central and I would definitely recommend trying to stay here if possible.
Up bright and early the next morning we took a short stroll to grab pastries in Sct. Peders Bageri before heading off to the Carlsberg factory to see how things were made.
After exploring the factory we headed back to central Copenhagen to check out some vintage shops.
They were amazing.
We popped into two shops, Wasteland and Episode, that were both huge and packed with unreal finds.
We spent at least an hour in each digging through the racks to find some gems.

Apart from this just renting a bike and cycling around is enough to enjoy such a beautiful city.
If you have time, make sure to check out the Meatpacking District. It's awesome.
