The brainchildren of Ciarán Morrison and Mick O'Hara, the brothers from Zog lit up many a living room from their early days on RTÉ with Ian Dempsey, through to the Ray D'Arcy era and their eventual move across the water to the Big Breakfast on Channel 4. The fact that it took a long time for that particular act of betrayal to be forgiven in this writer's household is indicative of just how much the pair meant to a generation of Irish children.
These days, the lads can be followed on Twitter under the handle @DoubleZCreative and every now and again they throw up little nuggets of information from their golden age.
This week, they've had a root through the attic and decided to share bits and pieces from letters that were sent into The Den back in the day. Did you ever put pen to paper and write into P.O. Box 2222? If so, you could well be featured here...

Whether you sent in a letter yourself or weren't alive and have no idea who Zig and Zag are, the whole hilarious Twitter thread is well worth a look. Check it out here.
