Donald Trump seems so incomprehensible at times that any actor that manages to pull off playing him should automatically be given an Oscar.

One man who has given it a go is Ireland's very own Brendan Gleeson and he seems to have gotten it spot on, judging by this teaser anyway. As for the show itself, it's called The Comey Rule and it will air on Showtime in the States in late-November, following the 2020 election when President Trump could already be former President Trump. The Comey Rule is based on Comey’s bestselling book A Higher Loyalty and will last four hours, split over two parts. Variety says that the series will 'take viewers on an insider’s journey down the corridors of power, where decision-makers struggle to apply old norms to a dramatic new paradigm in the face of Russia’s deep and unprecedented penetration into American politics, with our nation’s rule of law hanging in the balance.' Will Gleeson top his performance as a jailbird chef in Paddington 2? Only time will tell.
