The Late Late Toy Show is on the horizon and while it might be a little different this year, we can still look forward to a festive night of fun and games from the comfort of our sofas.
The annual screening of the Toy Show is widely regarded as the starting point for the festive season here in Ireland. Every year, Ryan Tubridy dons an array of Christmas jumpers and welcomes some of the country's cutest youngsters into the RTE studio. When does it take place?
This year's RTE Late Late Toy Show will take place on Friday, November 27. It will get underway at 9.35pm on RTE One. It will also be shown with Irish Sign Language on RTE News Now.
What can we expect from the Toy Show this year?
Unlike other years, there won't be a studio audience for reasons that you're most likely aware of at this stage. However, there will be a
virtual audience in place this year so there could still be plenty of goodies up for grabs.
Given all we've been through this year,
Ryan Tubridy has called this year's Toy Show "possibly the most important of all time," and has promised singing, dancing and, of course, lots of toys. As Tubs says, "let's gather together and make Christmas... Christmas".

Will the Toy Show be allowed to have studio guests?
Over the years,
shocked youngsters have been met a range of famous faces on the show, including Ed Sheeran, Robbie Keane, Girls Aloud and many more. This year, sadly, there might not be any celebrity surprises in person but we can expect plenty of virtual guests.

previously said that this year's opening performance will be "unguessable", which makes us all the more intrigued.
