Westlife fans rejoice.
The popular hour-long special that aired over Christmas will return to Irish TV screens
once again this afternoon.
Giving us a glimpse of life backstage, the programme features behind-the-scenes footage, as well as clips from the foursome’s sold-out gigs at Croke Park.
The group comprising of Shane Filan, Mark Feehily, Nicky Byrne and Kian Egan, made a long-awaited return to the music scene this year – coming back after an eight-year hiatus.
Performing their single
My Blood on the
Late Late Show last year, they showed they’ve still got it with another stunning rendition of
Flying Without Wings.

Westlife’s new album, Spectrum was released in early November 2019. It marks the group’s first album in nine years, going on to land them their first UK number one album in over a decade. Their last chart-topper was in 2007 with Back Home.
Set to play Páirc Uí Chaoimh in summer 2020, it’s thought
Dublin will have to wait until next year for a Westlife concert.
Westlife: The Twenty Tour-Live from Croke Park will air on RTE One at 4:45pm. That’s our afternoon sorted anyways.
