Millennials are often portrayed as latte-guzzling eejits who are too busy treating themselves to avocado toast to save up for a house.

In reality, they grew up at the worst time and are paying for previous generations' mistakes.

Earlier this evening, Irish comedian Emma Doran posted up a list of all the hardships millennials have had to go through.

Although she acknowledges the serious stuff, it's mainly light-hearted and took us on a fun trip down memory lane.
