The TG4 weather presenter is the subject of much concern on social media today after she was 'struck by lightning' live on air last night. During her Halloween weather report, Caitlín was updating the nation about what was in store when, about 30 seconds in, a fork of lightning descended on the TG4 studio and struck her as she was mid-sentence. Caitlín screamed before the words 'Fan Linn' appeared on the screen as TG4 aimed to rectify the technical difficulty. It was, of course, the work of the channel's creative team and viewers need not worry about Caitlín's whereabouts.
