You can always rely on the internet to keep spirits up during a crisis and the Gardai have posted a video this evening which fits that description.
The clip features Tralee Community Garda Mary Gardiner recreating the famous video for Is This The Way To Amarillo with the residents of Tonevane. Peter Kay's 2005 promotional video has seen several imitations in recent weeks but this one has to be right up there.
Participants were raising money as part of the
Formal Friday initiative as well as
Do It For Dan, which aims to raise funds for life-saving treatment for Dan Donoher, who suffers from genetic neuromuscular disease Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) Type 1 and Scoliosis.
