A trailer has been released for a brand new Irish thriller,
Broken Law, set to hit cinemas in August. And lads, it looks class.
The stellar cast sees some of the stars of Cardboard Gangsters, John Connors, Tristan Heanue, Graham Earley and Ryan Lincoln reunite for this edge-of-your-seat drama, as well as Irish actors Gemma Leah Devereux, Gary Lydon and Ally Ni Chiarain.
Broken Law "tells the story of two estranged brothers on opposite sides of the law. Dave Connolly is a respected member of the Garda Síochána but his loyalty to the force gets tested by his ex-convict brother Joe following a botched robbery. Suddenly Dave finds himself embroiled in a cover-up that leads to a secret relationship with Amia, an unhappily married woman who also happens to be the victim of his brother's latest crime."

Broken Law premiered at the Virgin Media Dublin International Film Festival earlier this year, receiving rave reviews from critics.
Speaking to
IFTN, the film's director and producer Paddy Slattery said, "The odds are always stacked against you when you’re making a film on a shoe-string budget so we’re proud to have our film selected to screen alongside some heavy hitters in the Irish film industry. But more than anything else, we just cannot wait to share our work with an audience."
