WATCH: This Airplane’s Wing Caught Fire While Passengers Were Still Inside

The wing of an airplane carrying 241 people caught fire yesterday.

Singapore Airlines Flight SQ368 from Changi Airport to Milan had to return to Singapore two hours into their journey as the pilot had noticed engine problems.

According to The Guardian, just moments after the plane touched down, the engine on the right wing burst into flames.

Singapore Airlines released a statement saying,

Passengers disembarked through stairs and were transported to the terminal building by bus. Passengers will be transferred to another aircraft which is expected to depart for Milan later today.

No one was injured in the blaze and firefighters on the scene allowed passengers to disembark the vehicle safely.

An investigation is now underway into the cause of the fire.
