Dogs Trust showed some of their lovable pooches picking out their Christmas presents.
And it’s the most wholesome thing I’ve ever seen.
Combining toy donations from staff and supporters, the guys lined them up in a row for the dogs in their Rehoming Centre to choose from.

Responsible for finding forever families for dogs across the country, last year they rehomed over 2,000 dogs.
Hoping to get across the message that “a dog is for life, not just for Christmas”, they’ve
suspended adoptions over the festive period.

While puppies and dogs, in general, prove to be a popular present each year, the charity maintains that the holidays are not a good time to take on a new addition, saying that people often rush into the decision without being properly prepared.
The Dogs Trust Centre in Finglas will remain open to the public so that people can still visit all the dogs looking for new homes and decide if they would like to proceed with the rehoming and adoption process in the New Year.
