WATCH: The Sea Is Freezing Over In Louth And It’s Scarily Like ‘The Day After Tomorrow’

Okay deep breathes. Nobody panic but... The sea is kinda, ever so slightly, just a tench tiny bit frozen. 

Things have gone from zero to apocalypse in a mere 24 hours, and a video of the sea in Blackrock, Louth taken yesterday morning and then again this morning shows just how cold it has become. 

Filmed by photographer Niall Carroll, the footage is freaky AF.

Yesterday was bad enough, with frozen chunks of seawater crashing up against a snowy seabed...

But today the ice chunks are even bigger. Look at how much solid ice has built up along the coast...

It's too like The Day After Tomorrow. Next thing we know we'll be burning the pages from our books to keep us warm. 

At least Jake Gyllenhaal had a happy ending in that film right... Right?!
