Millions of people tuned in to Planet Earth II's finale last night.
And what an incredible finale it was.
We doubt there was a dry eye remaining after that finale.
Atop of The Shard in London, 300 metres above ground, David Attenborough singed off the finale of Planet Earth II with a plea for all of humanity to create homes for both humans and wildlife where they can live and flourish symbiotically.
We must protect our planet, and all those creatures who call it home. #PlanetEarth2 pic.twitter.com/9WpOWbMXgr

Still have hope because of this man. He's a legend and perhaps the greatest Briton. Dignified, learned and caring.

That was the most poignant bit of tv I've seen in a long while. The piece Sir David delivered to camera made me weep.

May the message Sir David Attenborough said in the last episode of #PlanetEarth be loud and clear to everybody. We are but one planet.
