The Cavan St. Patrick’s Day parade might just be the best one of 2019 thanks to one particularly creative float idea.
An ATM was recently stolen from the Main Street using a large digger which made headlines around the country, and the scene was recreated for what was possibly the best float of the entire parade.
The aim was to “highlight the recent ATM thefts in the north east region”, according to RTÉ’s North East Correspondent Sinéad Hussey.
RTÉ cameraman Colm Hand shared a video of the ATM float making its way through the town on Sunday and it’s impressive just how much detail they put into it.
