Agnes Brown is already a pretty scary character, so it's safe to say we would have been fairly spooked if this happened to us.
On a nighttime patrol, Gardaí thought they had found the Dublin mammy passed out on a road in County Tipperary.
Well, that's what it looked like anyway. But upon further inspection, the Gardaí on patrol realised that it was not Mrs Brown and was in fact a Halloween scarecrow.

An Garda Siochána tweeted the bizarre picture yesterday evening.
They wrote, "For a minute we thought Agnes Browne had lost her way in Tipperary as it’s a long way!!
But alas! All was ok…just an Early Halloween Scarecrow. All in a nights patrol in Cahir, Co Tipperary."
Thankfully, they could see the humour in it. Because if it was me, I would be running home quicker than you could say "that's nice."
