Viewers have hailed Majella and Daniel O'Donnell as "national treasures".
Last night marked the penultimate episode of The Late Late Show, with host Ryan greeting viewers for the second to last time ahead of the show taking a short break for the summer.
Proving to be an invaluable resource for the Irish public over the past few weeks, the show has been keeping families across the country updated on all things Covid-19 related... sprinkling in some light-hearted entertainment too for good measure.
Joining Ryan on the show this week, he spoke to a number of different guests including Fianna Fáil leader Micheál Martin, Oscar-winning actor Jeremy Irons and country singer Nathan Carter. Not forgetting Majella and Daniel O'Donnell, who fans have rushed to describe as "national treasures" following their quick hello.

Popping into studio for a chat, Ryan introduced the man himself by saying that he is "beloved the world over from Gweedore to Goa, from Dallas to Dunloe".
Of course, Daniel has long been winning the nation's hearts - particularly after a video of him
singing outside a community hospital surfaced online last weekend.
Also speaking on behalf of Saint Vincent De Paul, Majella read out a letter that was sent to the charity looking for support. And support she got as it was confirmed this morning that Late Late viewers have helped to raise an incredible €900,000 for the charity - just shy of the one million euro mark.

Classing them as being "very genuine", even those who wouldn't necessarily class themselves as being fans of the couple praised them for their work.
