There's nothing like going down a good old fashioned hole on Food TikTok.
There's just so much to discover. Lunch ladies making food for hundreds of kids, young wans preparing the most aesthetically pleasing picnics you can imagine and fast food hacks for days.
Within this, there's a subcategory - Irish Food Tiktok. And I'm sure it won't surprise you to hear it's there I found an interesting combo of two ingredients that are absolutely integral to our culture: Guinness and potatoes.

Chef Daniel Lambert talks us through how to make the perfect hash browns, and I have to say I didn't think guinness would be making an appearance in the mix. But to be fair, how unreal do these look? He's obviously onto something. Cut to me buying out my local spar of maris pipers and guinness, then trying and failing to follow this recipe and crying in the corner for the rest of the evening. It's the same every time but for the rest of you hash brown lovers out there, I'd say this could be a winner. Definitely one to try!
