The world may have been duped into thinking pop stars Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez are the best of friends, but this six-year-old cannot be fooled. She's just blown the lid off this whole damn conspiracy.

This video was uploaded to the Fashion by Mayhem, a Facebook page which chronicles the creative endeavours of an incredibly precocious American girl who has a tendency to recreate dresses worn by celebrities on the red carpet. 

In a moment of sheer brilliance, little Mayhem offered a theory as to why Selena Gomez always seems to follow Taylor Swift around... And after watching the video above, we're convinced.
