Your Sunday night viewing menu has arrived!
Before we all get back to normal(ish) on Monday morning, why not ease into the end of the weekend with one or more of these:
The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen - E4 - 6.55pm
The late Sean Connery's final on-screen role puts him as the leader of a group of turn-of-the-20th-century superheroes - which also includes a vampire, an invisible man, and Tom Sawyer as an expert sniper - as they attempt to thwart a secretive supervillain from starting a world war.
Doctor Strange - RTE Two - 9pm
Benedict Cumberbatch's arrival into the Marvel Cinematic Universe has quite a bit in common with Tony Stark's - bearded genius with an ego problem gets a new outlook on life following a serious injury - but the Inception'y visuals and brilliant ending help make it stand out from the crowd a bit.
The Take - FilmFour - 9pm
Game of Thrones star Richard Madden is the pickpocket who is drafted in my Idris Elba's intelligence agent to help find and stop a series of terrorist attacks in Paris. Does it make a lick of sense? No. Is it fun watching Elba and Madden be mean to each other in an action movie? Absolutely.
Fargo - ITV4 - 11.05pm
The multi-Oscar-winning dark comedy/drama/thriller sees the heavily pregnant sheriff of a small snowy town attempt to make sense of a series of violent murders in her otherwise very quiet neighbourhood.
Election - BBC One - 12.05am
One of Reece Witherspoon's earlier roles, she plays an over-achieving student who plans on winning the student election, unaware that one of her teachers (Matthew Broderick), who has taken a dislike to her, has made it his life's mission to make sure she doesn't win.
A Taxi Driver - FilmFour - 1.10am
Not to be confused with the Scorsese directed dark drama, this tells the story of a down-on-his-luck taxi driver hired by a journalist to drive to downtown South Korea to cover the 1980 protests, only for them both to soon regret the decision of going there.
