Tom Hanks, Jennifer Lawrence, The Rock, Melissa McCarthy, Jason Statham... they're all on your TV tonight.

Monday has returned, and with it comes a night of some very decent movies to enjoy. Kick your week off properly with one or more of these this evening. Ghostbusters - FilmFour - 6.20pm Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon and Lesley Jones star in this reboot/sequel to the legendary comedy. Is it anywhere near as good as that classic? No. Is it anywhere near as bad as you've heard? Also no. Safe - Sky One - 9pm Jason Statham stars in this action-thriller involving a cage fighter who finds himself protecting a 12-year-old maths genius from several dangerous gangs when they discover she holds a valuable code. Welcome To The Jungle - Comedy Central - 9pm The Rock and Seann Williams Scott (aka Stifler from American Pie) star in this action-comedy about a bounty hunter and his target falling foul to angry local criminals deep in the Amazon jungle. Red Sparrow - FilmFour - 9pm Jennifer Lawrence stars in this gritty spy thriller, playing a trainee in a school for Russian double-agents, who may or may not actually plan on defecting to America. Angels & Demons - TG4 - 9.30pm Tom Hanks returns as the expert puzzle solver in this sequel to The Da Vinci Code, this time caught up in a plot that goes all the way to the top of the Catholic Church, and may result in an attack on The Vatican itself. Rush Hour 2 - ITV4 - 10.30pm The hit sequel to the action-comedy buddy movies sees Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan return to solve another crime, with more explosions, stunts, and culture-clashing jokes.
