In what we can only assume is some kind of brilliant joke, there seems to be A LOT of scary movies on tonight, perhaps as a way of giving a fitting send-off to the horror that was 2020.
There are also some comedies and musicals and dramas too, just in case horror isn't your bag.
The Sound of Music - BBC Four - 8pm
Winner of five Oscars, and nearly three hours long, everyone has either seen The Sound of Music by now, or knows enough about it to feel like they have already seen it. Either way, it will bring you almost right up to midnight!
Twins - ITV4 - 8pm
Arnie and Danny DeVito discover they are twins separated at birth, so they decide to work together to find their birth mother.
Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery - Comedy Central - 9pm
Mike Myers first big screen outing as the British super spy (as well as the evil, eh, Doctor Evil) teams him up with Elizabeth Hurley, to help him acclimate to the 1990s.
Se7en - TCM - 9pm
Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman are two homicide detectives attempting to track down a serial killer who is basing his crimes on the seven deadly sins. One of the greatest serial killer thrillers ever made.
Creed - RTE Two - 9.20pm
With the announcement that star Michael B. Jordan will be directing the upcoming third entry in this spin-off series himself, you should check out this great sports drama, with the son of Rocky's best friend seeking him out to train him for a big fight.
Rosemary's Baby - TCM - 11.40pm
Considered one of the greatest horror movies ever made, Mia Farrow plays a young wife who quickly becomes pregnant after moving into a new home with her husband, but she begins to suspect her new neighbours have evil plans for her baby.
Bad Neighbours 2 - RTE Two - 11.45pm
Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne team up with Zac Efron (who they fought against in the first movie) in order to try to get an all-girls college group to move out of the house next door.
Halloween - FilmFour - 1.25am
The 1978 original sees Jamie Lee Curtis attempt to survive a night of babysitting when she discovers a deranged serial killer has returned to his childhood home (which happens to be right up the street from her own).
Blazing Saddles - RTE Two - 1.25am
Gene Wilder and Cleavon Little star is this incredible satire of the Western genre, still considered to be one of the funniest movies of all time.
