There Will Be Live Dating On RTÉ This Weekend

Dating is a pretty mortifying business.

There's the awkward silences, the lack of attraction, the bad manners... so many things can go wrong.

But next time you feel sorry for yourself while swiping through Tinder, spare a thought for the men and women who will be dating in front of the nation this weekend.

Not content with the car crash that was the Late Late Show Valentine's Day Special, RTÉ is hosting a special episode of Saturday Night With Miriam with an appearance by none other than Willy Daly of Lisdoonvarna Matchmaking Festival.

And there will also be live dates, with a group of singles taking part in a 'Table For Six' date during the show.

This can only end badly... but we'll be glued anyway.
