The most coveted award in gaming.

2020 sees the final year of the current generation of consoles like the PS4 and Xbox One representing the cutting edge of gaming, but to be fair, after seven years, they've had a good run! While next year's best games will likely be launched on either the PS5 (maybe one of these) or the Xbox Series X (or these), for this year, the six best games available have been nominated for the very coveted title of best game of the year, with the winners to be announced on Thursday, December 10. Previous winners of the coveted title include Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, God of War, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and Overwatch.
